The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC), Mumbai is organizing ‘Source India 2019’ - the 4th edition of their flagship Global Reverse Buyer Seller Meet, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai from 21st to 23rd August 2019.

Nearly 125 of their member exporters will be displaying the latest range of Man-made Fibre Textile products and its blends in Fabrics, Yarn, Fibre, Made-ups, Home Textiles and Technical Textiles to around 150 leading buyers from nearly 40 countries during the event.

All the buyers selected by the Sub-Committee appointed for the purpose will be provided complimentary economy class return airfare from their nearest airport to Mumbai, free accommodation at the Grand Hyatt and air conditioned transportation during the show.

To make the visit of the overseas buyers more productive and beneficial the Council is also organizing 2 ‘Networking’ Dinners for interactions with our member exhibitors, Seminars and Conferences which will provide the latest insights into the MMF Textile sector in India. Buyers who are not selected by the Sub Committee are also welcome to attend the event without the ‘complimentary’ facilities at their own cost.

The event is being organized under grant from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and under the aegis the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. 15th Edition of International Summit on Higher Education will be organized by FICCI from 27th – 29th November 2019 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi, INDIA.

FICCI has been organizing the FICCI Higher Education Summit (FHES) for the last 14 years and the past editions have been extremely successful, witnessing participation of more than 1000 delegates every year.

The event will be jointly organized by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) & Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). 

FICCI Higher Education Summit 2019 (FHES 2019) will comprise of:

      The 5th edition of Global Exhibition on Services (GES) 2019 is being organised by Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India in partnership with the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) from 18th - 20th September 2019 at the Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The GES 2018 was a collective success with participation from about 100 countries, 500 overseas delegates, over 628 exhibitors and more than 7000 structured B2B Meetings.  At this edition, the Hon'ble President of India formally launched the 12 Champion Services Sector.  The upcoming GES 2019 will provide a platform for forging sustained partnerships amongst countries in the identified champion services sectors.  these include Information Technology & Information Technology enabled Services (IT & ITeS), Tourism and Hospitality Services, Medical Value Travel, Transport and Logistics Services, Accounting and Finance Services, Audio Visual Services, Legal Services, Communication Services, Construction and Related Engineering Services, Environmental Services, Financial Services and Education Services.  This event is expected to have participation from about 100 countries and will host focussed knowledge sessions and a large number of B2B, B2G and B2C meetings.  An active participation from Indian State Governments and Union Territories is also expected.

Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is the apex body of trade sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India to promote exports of the gems and Jewellery from India. Being one of India's leading foreign exchange earners and one of the fastest growing sectors accounting for 11.99 % of India’s total merchandise exports during FY 2018-19, the industry has registered a remarkable growth over the last four decades, with exports from US$ 28 million in the 1966-67 when the GJEPC was established to US$39.68 billion in FY 2018-19(p).

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) was able to successfully host the 12th edition of Signature 2019 which was held in Mumbai from 10th  – 13th  February 2019. The event is being organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India. During the event, over 125 member-companies of the Council will be exhibiting their latest range of synthetic and rayon textile items including fabrics, yarn, made-ups, fibre, home textiles and technical textiles.


 Source India is a platform to engage the leading importers of Man-made Fibre Textile products with our Indian exporters and thereby promote the exports of Indian MMFT products. The Council will be inviting nearly 150 leading buyers from around 40 countries as our sponsored guests.

FICCI, in partnership with AIFF, is organizing the 6th edition of “GOAL 2019”, International convention on Business of Football, on 26th & 27th March 2019 at Federation House, Tansen Marg, New Delhi.

Agricultural and Processed Food products Export Development Authority of India (APEDA) is organizing a Conference cum Buyer Seller Meet on Agri Products Export during 5-6 March 2019 at Taj Vivanta, Guwahati, Assam.  This Conference will provide a platform for B2B and G2G meetings between International and National Buyers, Exporters and the progressive Growers to explore business opportunities in agricultural commodities.

The State Government of Karnataka, in association with the Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industry & Public Enterprises, Government of India, is developing an exclusive Integrated Machine Tool Park (IMTP) in 529 acres  of land at Tumakuru. This would be an integral part of Government of India supported Tumakuru Industrial Node on the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor and it is located about 90 kms from Bengaluru and Bengaluru International Airport.

The park is expected to be ready by March, 2019. 158 industrial plots of various dimension have been formed in this park.

The companies engaged in manufacturing of machine tools are invited for their participation/investment by setting up their units in this park.  Besides this, the common amenities, attractive incentives and concessions are available to the Machine Tools investors as per the State Industrial Policy 2014-19. Four Export Promotion Councils (CHEMEXCIL, PLEXCONCIL, CAPEXIL and SHEFEXIL) under the aegis of the Department of Commerce (DoC), Government of India will be organizing the subject event in Mumbai on March 26 - 28, 2019, CAPINDIA 2019 is the 4th edition of CAPINDIA. Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India has initiated a "Global Housing Technology Challenge-India (GHTC-India)". The challenge shall have various activities such as conduct of Grand Expo-cum-Conference, identifying Proven Demonstrable Technologies for 'Lighthouse Projects' and establishment of Affordable Sustainable Housing Accelerators - India (ASHA-I) for incubation and Accelerator support amongst others. The winners of this challenge will be suitably awarded by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India. A dedicated website for the GHTC-India namely www.ghtc-india.gov.in has been created for easy reference and for participating in the challenge under various components.

 

GHTC-India has been launched on 14th January 2019 and a Grand Expo-cum-Conference on GHTC-India is being organized at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi during March 4-5, 2019 (tentative). This Global Expo intends to have participation from wide range of stakeholders such as global technology providers, private and public sector agencies, developers, entrepreneurs, researches, technical institutions among others from across the world. The Expo will have panel discussions, inspiring talks/sessions, exhibitions of prototypes, models, digital and poster displays, exchange of knowledge and business part from providing networking opportunities.



Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) is organizing the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce & Industry Business Meet on February 25-27, 2019.

47th IHGF Delhi Fair - Spring 2019


The Export promotion Council for Handicrafts would be organising the 47th Edition of IHGF Delhi Fair - Spring 2019 from 18 - 22 February 2019 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida Delhi NCR.


The 46th IHGF Delhi Fair - Autumn 2018 held from 14-18 October 2018, recognized as a "One Stop Sourcing Destination" amongst foreign buyers, saw visit of 6596 buyers from 110 countries and reported business worth Rs.3465 crores equivalent to US$ 510 Million and buyers from new and emerging markets like Benin, Fiji, Latvia, Rwanda and Dominican Republic were added in the list of 46th Edition of IHGF Delhi Fair.
