Celebration of 6th Ayurveda Day


The Embassy of India in Jakarta celebrated 6th Ayurveda Day on 02nd November, 2021 at India House and was attended by large number of gathering including dignitaries from diplomatic corps. The event started with lighting of the lamp by Ambassador, Deputy Governor Dr. H. Dadang Solihin, and DG of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Mr. Tri Handoko Seto.

The Ambassador of India to Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Manoj Kumar Bharti addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of Ayurveda.

Dr. Shilpa Dhoka, renowned Ayurvedic doctor based in Jakarta interacted with the audience and reflected upon the significance of Ayurveda including herbs in daily life.

Two splendid cultural events were performed followed by Shanti Mantra, Vedic Hymns for Peace by Mr. Vignesh Mahadevan, IT professional and Enterprise Business Head, Tech Mahindra. The event ended with guests enjoying assorted Indian delicacies on the occasion of Ayurveda Day.
