In view of the overwhelming response and reach of the quiz,  the date for registration and participation in the quiz has been extended up to 29th May 2021. ‘Namami Gange’ is an integrated river conservation mission launched by the Government of India with the mandate for rejuvenation of Ganga for restoring the wholesomeness of the river. As part of its activities, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Ministry of Jal Shakti has been organizing the Ganga Quest-an online national quiz on Ganga & its tributaries, water conservation, ecological sustainability & other related subjects annually for engaging youth and school children, aimed to build public awareness and ensuring people’s involvement in the mission of rejuvenating the river Ganga.

The registrations for the Ganga Quest-2021 on the website (www.gangaquest.com) commenced from 22nd March 2021 (World Water Day) onwards.

International participants (NRIs/PIOs/OCIs, Indian Schools and communities) are encouraged to participate for connecting with the greater cause of reviving the national river Ganga.
