It is informed to all persons going to India that use of Thuraya / Iridium Satellite phones is banned in India.
It is therefore, advised, that visitors to India, should not carry Thuraya / Iridum Satellite phone along with them. If caught, they will be subject to prosecution as per the Indian laws.

i. All Indians coming to Indonesia are requested to Register themselves at the Embassy. Registration Form is available online / at the Embassy.
ii. There are number of fake agents who promise visas for USA/Canada/Europe/ Australia or jobs in Indonesia. One should be cautious with such elements.
iii. Please exercise due caution before giving passport to non-bonafide agents, as several cases of Indian nationals having been duped reported to the Embassy.
iv. Please check the validity of your passport before starting journey. It should be more than six months at the time of return from Indonesia.
v. Please consult Indonesian Immigration before any business activity. Certain business activities are not allowed on Business visa.
vi. Please do not overstay beyond your visa period failing which you are liable to be booked for visa violations.
